Whether designing a unique piece or an industrial project, the studio's research is the same: to go beyond simple function and go beyond the "minimum required". Considering the confrontation of ideas and designs as a way to achieve a fair and effective project, a design that literally mobilizes the body and mind.

TAM SACHS AKA SACHA NATAF: artisan-designer

Sacha Nataf has long lived for and through music. It is for her that he decided to leave school at 14. His father agreed on the condition that he learn his trade as an upholsterer. With his CAP in his pocket, Sacha became a DJ and set Parisian dancefloors alight with his Tech House sounds.

But at 29, duty called him back to his father's workshop. Following the death of one of the artisans, he had to support the team of upholsterers at short notice. First three days a week, then bitten by the game, full time.

Caught up by a passion for needlework, Sacha became an expert in restoration. Beyond classic furniture, it was working on designer creations that stimulated him the most. Interventions on pieces as spectacular as Giancalro Piretti's 13-module sofa determined his desire to innovate.

Today at the head of the Annie Simon Workshops, he takes on the name Tam Sachs to give free rein to his creativity and launches the Rockstool brand at the same time as his first seats.
